Acequia has now planted over 3000 vines in the Corrales area, where most of the grapes they use come from.  In addition to that, by 2012 there will be 5 Wineries in the Corrales area within 10 minutes of one another.  Not only does that make Corrales the Winery Capital of New Mexico, but it’s a great way to spend an afternoon with lunch or dinner at one of the fine restaurants in, or around, Corrales
