Averill House Vineyard

Averill House Vineyard is a family-owned winery nestled in the Historic Ice District of Brookline, New Hampshire. Established by the Waite family in 2015, this charming vineyard offers an inviting atmosphere where guests can enjoy a range of wine experiences. The vineyard’s roots trace back to a simple gift of six vines in 2012, which sparked a passion for winemaking and led to the transformation of an 1830s New England barn into a fully operational winery. Today, Averill House boasts around 500 cold-climate vines across 11 varietals, creating a diverse and exquisite selection of wines.

The vineyard is renowned for its “Grape to Glass” philosophy, ensuring that each wine is crafted with utmost care and quality, using grapes and fruits organically grown on their premises and sourced from southern New Hampshire. The winery produces a wide array of wines, including traditional reds, craft whites, fruit wines, blends, and even dessert wines, catering to various palates and preferences.

Averill House Vineyard offers a unique wine-tasting experience in their refurbished tasting room, originally a post-and-beam barn from the 1830s. The tasting room and gift shop provide a cozy setting to sample wines and purchase wine-themed gifts, snacks, and memorabilia.
