Grandfather Vineyard & Winery

Grandfather Vineyard & Winery was founded in the spring of 2003 when owner Steve Tatum planted the first vine. Starting as a hobby, Steve did some home winemaking for a few years. After son Dylan Tatum graduated from Surry Community College, the family decided they wanted to open a commercial winery. They opened the doors to the winery in May of 2011, offering world-class wines
