Wölffer Estate Vineyard is undoubtedly a stunning destination. Its creation, spanning over three decades, required a visionary approach, the ability to turn dreams into reality, and a tremendous amount of dedicated hard work from many individuals. Christian Wölffer had the vision, and with the meticulous efforts of his professional team, Wölffer Estate Vineyard was established to be enjoyed by all.
Originally, the land was a potato farm with an old farmhouse at its center. Over the years, as more acres were acquired, paddocks and stables were added. The vineyard was founded in 1988. Today, this 55-acre winery is part of a 175-acre estate that includes boarding stables, 30 paddocks, an indoor jumping ring, and a Grand Prix field. Both the stables and winery reflect a European character, transforming former potato fields into the foundation for world-class wines. Wölffer Estate Vineyard exemplifies an American winery in the classic European tradition.
